Two-time Stanley Cup champion Jay Pandolfo has agreed to attend the New York Islanders' 2011 training camp on a tryout basis.

Pandolfo spent 14 years of his professional career with the New Jersey Devils, playing in 819 career games and totaling 99 goals and 124 assists. He's also appeared in 131 career Stanley Cup Playoff games, notching 11 goals and 22 assists. He was a member of both the 2000 and 2003 Devils Stanley Cup championship teams.

Last season, Pandolfo signed a professional tryout agreement with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League, posting two goals and four assists in 12 games.

Could be good for both sides ... Jay is a great leader and a Mathieu Darche type of player who always brings it all for the 3rd/4th line ... and this could help NYI also
