lmao. Priceles......Some jackass for the Wall Street Journal is today making the argument that Derek Jeter should be the AL MVP this year. Naturally, said idiot forgets that Jeter's sudden resurgence probably has something to do with the Yankees playing in a wind tunnel.
And don't even get me started on Teixeira. Did you know Joe Mauer's batting average is higher than Teixeira's on base percentage?
See, there's no rational way Joe Mauer isn't the AL MVP. Anyone who doesn't vote for him is, frankly, an idiot. He leads in every possible statsitical category you can imagine for being an MVP, and he blows away Jeter and Tex in multiple categories, all while playing the toughest position in baseball (catcher).
A bunch of fools out there are trying to make some case that because Jeter is playing on the best team in baseball and is having a fine year, he deserves some kind of lifetime achievement award (even though he isn't the best player on his own team).
I'm being dead serious about this: If Joe Mauer doesn't win the AL MVP award this year, I will never watch baseball again. And every writer who didn't vote for him, I'll burn down his house.
