Update On #MattRiddle Signing with WWE

On todays edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, its was Revealed Matt Riddle has agreed to terms with #WWE.

Meltzer also dropped a bombshell that Riddle was recently offered a full-time-contract with #NJPW. This is shocking, considering Riddle was pulled as Jeff Cobbs partner from World Tag League last year, when NJPW found out about his past with marijuana.

Ultimately, Matt chose #NXT. It should be noted WWE does not suspend weed violators anymore. People who are caught are fined $2,500 for each violation.

It is known as The pot tax and they don't Really See it as a Issue.

WWE Planning to Fast-Track Keith Lee Through NXT to the Main Roster
 



Keith Lee’s stay in NXT may be short-lived as the company apparently has plans to fast track him to the main roster.
 
Lee, who recently made his debut at the last set of NXT tapings in a match against Marcel Barthel, is not expected to have a long stay in the developmental system for WWE. Joseph Peisech indicated on the latest installment of the No Holds Barred podcast that the company wants to push him through NXT and have him debut as soon as possible.


 



“He did appear at NXT, the last NXT and all that. He did appear at some TV tapings but look for him. They’re going to fast track him into NXT. I wouldn’t be surprised if come November/December he’s on the main roster already.”

It will be interesting to see if that plays out. It all depends on how quickly a talent can adapt to the WWE style of professional wrestling. Certain talents take can take longer than others but WWE definitely wants this guy on the main roster by the sound of things.

Backstage News On #AndradeAlmas' Future On #SDLive

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Almas really impressed backstage officials in his match against AJ Styles last week.

Johnson says that the talk coming out of the show was that Almas will be in line for a big push on Smackdown Live.

The momentum has already started in this direction with Almas picking up a win against Rusev this week. It does appear as if the company is about to start to push him.
This is obviously great news for any fans of Almas. He has a ton of talent and is also someone that the company can push to help grow their Latin-American fanbase.
