Jackets got out of their funk. Raffi Torres had two goals, one goal was with 23 seconds left in the 3rd period to tie it. Umberger with the game winner in OT.
Ovechkin got injured in the game, and it was by Torres.

You base your season on one hot streak at the beginning of the season? Might I remind you that the Wild started off 8-0 last year and missed the playoffs. You're reading too far into the future my man. Just worry about trying to sustain a winning record until we've hit the Olympic break, and if you're teams done that and is still playing well up until the trade deadline then you might be able to mention Islanders and Playoffs in the same sentence.

Anything is possible, the season is fairly young and we have hopes to compete and really challenge for a playoff spot. Its a step in the right direction.

hopefully the blues heat back up and at least hit 8th seed. probably wont happen though.
