Before the pre-season I was starting to think Tavares might become a bust, but what I've seen from him so far. I think he'll turn into a franchise player for the Isles.

Yea I hope so too. We need a savior and Tavares might just be that.

Because I always thought of him as a sniper and that's all. I thought he wasn't an all around player. But after watching highlights of him, I think it's clear he is.

your team's best player is extremely injury prone and happens to carry a 12 year contract with the team however Garth Snow did acquire a few above average goalies but other than that the Isles barely improved this year other than through the draft, and if Crosby and Ovechkin weren't able to carry their team to the playoffs in their rookie year than Tavares won't be able to either
