drummond isn't good
He's not good as a focal point of an offense
if he came to boston, he'd be the #2 big whos focus is rebounding and defense, and finishing at the rim off missed shots and alley oops

we need rebounding, and hes one of the best out there

If a team were to trade for the Brooklyn pick, they would essentially trade for the right to swap, correct?
So the Nets get the swapped pick of whoever holds the right?
Boston has the right to swap the BOS 17 with the BKN 17. Barring the second seeded Celtics falling out of the playoffs, and then vaulting in the lottery ahead of the Nets, that pick will be swapped

So if Boston trades the pick to Chicago, they get the Nets pick, but Brooklyn still gets Boston's 1st, not Chicago's. If they trade the pick to Chicago, and then that following scenario happens (I'd kill myself btw), Chicago would just keep the Celtics 1st.

Interesting, I thought the Nets could gain something if say the Pacers or Bulls trade for the pick and stink it up without Butler/George. Would have put them right back in the lottery potentially. Guess not.

good luck with the defense part and when things go sour, hes a baby. i thought he had potential to be great but his scouting report before he was drafted is looking to be spot on.

I don't think the Celtics need any moves. They're the Eastern conference favorites, and that's a fact

CJ for boogie might've worked

But trading a good kid like cj for dmc definitely doesn't look good

Heres the latest from the Eastern Conference:

Teams around the league believe that the Pacers are simply looking to gather information on the market for Paul George rather than shopping him, David Aldridge of NBA.com tweets.

Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe (Twitter link) hears that there have not been any substantial talks between the Celtics and the Pacers or Bulls this week.
Theres a feeling around the league that the Knicks would give Derrick Rose away in a trade, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical (Facebook Live link). Rose has recently been linked to the Wolves.

In the same segment, Wojnarowski adds that he believes the Bulls may be interested in Jahlil Okafor regardless of whether they trade Jimmy Butler. Wojnarowski added that the Sixers would need at least a first-round pick to part with Okafor while the Bulls are likely to try and offload Nikola Mirotic in an Okafor deal.

Wojnarowski adds (same piece) that the Bulls are firmly behind coach Fred Hoiberg. The organization wants to make it work with the former college coach and if Chicago trades Butler, the franchise could put together a team thats much younger and possibly better suited for Hoibergs coaching style.

Reggie Jacksons trade value is at an all-time low and Wojnarowski (same piece) doesnt envision the Pistons trading him at the deadline.

The Hawks acquired Ersan Ilyasova earlier today and Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (Twitter link) hears that the team isnt done dealing.

The Raptors continue to offer Jared Sullinger and a draft choice to teams as they look for help on the wing, Sam Amico of Amico Hoops tweets.

As the NBA trade deadline approaches Thursday, the Detroit Pistons are reportedly asking for three assets in exchange for guard Reggie Jackson.

According to Chris Mannix of The Vertical, Detroit is actively shopping Jackson and hoping to land a first-round pick, young player and expiring contract in exchange for him.

Jackson thrived last season with a career-high 18.8 points and 6.2 assists per game, but his play has dropped off in 2016-17.

The 26-year-old is currently putting up 15.2 points and 5.6 helpers per contest in 36 appearances.

Man listen, SVG is trying to finesse someone lol.

I still thought my CP3/Wall trade with $tunna was one of the most balanced trades in league history lol

Sources: Boston, Indy had preliminary talk on Paul George, but there won't be real dialogue until/unless C's introduce Nets pick into deal.

There's now an update saying that a Nets pick has entered discussions but, seriously....? They're going to end up missing out on another star and continue to tread water.
