Mort: Westbrook to pick a team by Monday

ESPN's Chris Mortensen predicts that free agent Brian Westbrook will sign with a team by Monday.
Mort mentions the Rams, Redskins, and Broncos as the likeliest choices, but he also leaves open the possibility of a surprise team. The three teams have shown interest in the 30-year-old all along, but he's been holding out for a better offer from a contender. Aug. 12 - 9:52 am et

I don't see why the Redskins, with their full backfield of old and washed up RB's would take Westy. I think honestly, the Rams would be the best choice for him. S-Jax and Westy is a nice pair in a backfield which could let young Sam Bradford develop.
