^ Drysdale, Lasorda, Snider, Campanella, and Jackie all Montreal Royals alumni.

Got a good one...

Q: Who was the umpire that ruled "no fan interference" on the infamous Steve Bartman incident?

man, i had to look this one up...I can remember some umpires but I know for a fact they weren't there. At least not to make the call.

If no one gets this before I leave, I'll just post it so we can move on

Certain Umpires I will never forget b/c of horrible calls like that. Doug Eddings for example, the 2005 White Sox still owe him a ring for that dropped 3rd strike call in the ALCS.

Next Question: Who was the first Major League player to have his signature engraved in the barrel of a Louisville Slugger baseball bat?

Hounus Wagner?
Wagner is correct. I've been to the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory...and I know for a fact that Wagner was the first player to officially endorse the bat. Not only was his autograph the first to appear on a louisville slugger but "The Flying Dutchman" was the first pro-athlete to endorse any sort of sports equipment.

Alright Met fans, lets see what you got...

Q: Upon the Mets creation in 1959, Principle Owner Charles Shipman Payson narrowed down the search for a team name to 7 finalists. Name 1 of the 7 names that were finalists prior to the team being named the "Mets".

Bonus points for the name the Payson preferred most.
