Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

You voted Bogaerts as the best SS ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Because then we couldn't rig the Red Sox to be higher than their spots, duh
I'm not even voting for JBJ here! y'all were the ones who brought him up. he's simply not having a better year than jackie is, and when these rankings have ALWAYS been on who is currently the best player, I don't see how you can choose the guy hitting .244

So, we aren't taking any consideration to how they did last year? it's JUST based on this season?

That's literally how we've done it here for the past six years of these player rankings. what I quoted above was what CC posted for the nba rankings when he ran it for 2015

I also think its stupid to have a LF CF and RF voting, and it should have just been Top 10 OF, where Jackie might not even make the list

Like someone else said why not just go based off WAR and not even bother doing the voting?

Corey Seager was by far #1 offensively at the time

I have no problem with that lol

NBA doesnt have a real "WAR" stat (PER is garbage) so its more important for the rankings there

You really can't be serious can you? The reason why the Red Sox would trade JBJ for Cutch is because Cutch is the better player right now. He's had bad luck, and been banged up this season but if you are contending you would take McCutchen any day of the week.
Yeah but completely ignore his increase in k% attributing to that. Hes babip while below career average, is right at league average now.

You're lying
Nope.  I'm taking the guy that is three years younger with three more years of control and a ton less money and much better defensively.  And so are the Red Sox.

Since bosox quoted the NBA polls, I will as well

"please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer."

LeafKiller is the only one with a homer vote so far ?eh?

I'm still going with Cespedes, then Adam Jones, then JBJ. If y'all want to vote in McCutcheon thats fine, but I'm not
