Comcast Sports Bay Area is suggesting that Singletary could be fired by next week: Story.

Most would wonder what the point is of firing Singletary so late into a hopeless season...but it looks like Jed York might have just had enough. Singletary's team embarrasses itself more each week, he's getting into shouting matches with his players in front of cameras, and its never too early to officially begin the head coach search.
