ESPN - LaDainian Tomlinson has reached agreement on a two-year contract with the Jets, according to a report from ESPN.

Tomlinson also considered signing with Minnesota.

Figured it deserved it's own thread.
Good pick-up for the Jets. Though I think it's a downgrade from Thomas really...

Dumb dumb dumb move for the Jets. Shonn Greene will show what he really can do soon.

LT has too many miles on him to be effective.

I may regret saying this but his career is <Censored>ing over.

They are really going to miss Thomas Jones, but at least they ended up getting a veteran to mentor Greene in the backfield. It shouldn't play out too bad in my opinion.

I think this was good for the Jets they have one of the best O-Lines in the league, with Braylon Edwards having an offseason with the team getting to know everything better and build chemistry with Sanchez their offense will be better than good enough to compliment their defense.

I suppose.

Favre, as much as I disrespect him now, has the same effect.

The thing is, I wouldn't put LT up there with the greats.

Most of his touchdown runs are on the goal-line.

You guys have this all wrong. Thomas Jones was washed up imo and all he ever did was run into his blockers. I wanted the Jets to get rid of him in the offseason. I think LT can revive his career with our o-line.

Yessir. He couldn't do anything at the end of last season. Not saying LT is gonna do much, but I'll take Shonn Greene starting over Thomas Jones.

So Thomas Jones is washed up, yet LT is going to get his career back together? Think you're mixing the two up here... TJ is fine.

Well yeah, he's still solid. I'm just saying who I'd rather have starting on my team.
