Going 0-16 does have it's privileges...like say...first to pick in the rookie draft...and first in line to make initial waiver claims.

The Lions capitilized on their top waiver position by placing claims on several players let go by team yesterday. All in all, the Lions claimed defensive end Copeland Bryan and cornerback Kevin Hobbs. Former Ravens return man Yamon Figurs, runningback Tristan Davis, tight end Carson Butler, wide receiver John Broussard and corner Marcus McCauley were all signed and added to their practice squad.

IDK but is this supposed to make them a better team?

Well, we do need players on the practice squad. Probably wont make us a "better" or "worse" team just mainly signing them to fill the roster. Might not even see any of them play. Than again, this is the lions, so maybe.

McCauley is actually ur best pick-up in my eyes. The guy had a mediocre summer but ultimately, the Vikes have cheaper options in Sapp and Paymah.

We needed to grab help on the d-line and I think Ian Scott could've been the help me we need.

Best move of the day...trading Kevin O'Connell for a future pick.
