Chicago Tribune -
"LeBron James, showing his first signs of desperation with Sasha Pavlovic and Anderson Varejao holding out, said the Cavs should consider signing Charles Oakley.

The agents for Pavlovic and Varejao are telling the team they'll call back when they're 2-10".

The Cavs 1st 8 games are on the road( And the 1st 6 games are against the West)and there 1st game is against the Mavs.

So they do have there word cut out for them right now.
Maybe they could use Oakley.

Oakley sucks....what is James thinking about. He's old, washed up, and useless.

But he could help the younger players by kinda teaching toughness.
He can baseaclly do what Lindsey Hunter's doing for my Pistons.

What I find so funny is the money each of those two players are asking for.

Varejao said he wants a 6 year/54 mil deal with 9 mil each year which is ridiculous.

I like Charles Oakley, he's old as dirt but he was solid up until he retired. If LeBron wants him, sign him.

Oak played GREAT defense while he still played, nobody was able to match his and Anthony Mason's toughness when the played for the Knicks. Oakley isnt a "flopper"

Oakley could return back to his days as the Enoforcer. when the Bulls first had Jordan, nobody messed with MJ because they'd have to get by Oakley first. Now Oakley can do the same for lebron. Although, I don't think Lebron and Oakley will have the same kind of relationship.

Varejao isn't even that good. I don't want to say he sucks, but he is only worth $4 or $5 million a year at most.
