Belinelli can be solid enough defensively to fill in 
On paper or 2K maybe, but I don't think Aldridge is a fit for what they do best. Incredibly active team on both ends, flying around defensively then a ton of movement offensively while taking a lot of threes. Meanwhile you have Aldridge, a ball stopper who is in love with the midrange game. He isn't the best fit for SA.

Or you can think of it as Duncan doing Splitter's role, and Aldridge as the new Duncan
