I'd love to see a team in Hamilton. Although an add-on to Copps Coliseum, or a new arena would have to be made to fit the NHL regulars, I think the market that they have is crazy. 5000 people signed up for season tickets right away, and the market is near 3,000,000 people.

Anyways, what do you think?

Winnipeg because I would get to go there. And would root for them.

I would never be for a second Toronto team. That speculation pissed me off. Only one hockey team belongs in Toronto and that is the Leafs.

Winnipeg is easily better than Phoenix in terms of attendance and all.

Winnipeg is better because we <Censored>ing appreciate the game of hockey. The reason it didn't work out was a lot of things. You can't just hit on one thing and blame the whole situation of the Jets leaving on it. Winnipeg will work out. We have a new stadium in the MTS Center that is in the heart of downtown, it'll bring a nice vibe back down there with the Jets coming back. As well, if we are talking about teams failing and automatically shunning that city, why are we discussing Quebec city? Do you remember the Noridques?

Dumb post. Minnesota and Colorado got a second chance and it has turned out great....

Another thing about the Jets- the Canadian economy was the <Censored>tiest it had been in a long time.

Winnipeg could of worked out but the league's patience ran short and suddenly Bettman's idea of putting ice hockey teams in unlikely markets became a super idea.

Right, Bettman also has a thing for Winnipeg. Unfortunately, that is what is going to delay this process most likely longer than it should be. I mean, the truth is, he knows full well these markets in the Southern US (for the most part) are not working out. He just doesn't want to admit that - but the money and revenue is showing that. Winnipeg loves hockey. It's that simple. When you get a city who loves their hockey and has a good core size who will pay to go see their team, it destroys a large population who gives two <Censored>s about the sport.
