The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has acquired guard Devin Brown from the New Orleans Hornets for center Aaron Gray.

“We’re excited to add Devin Brown to our team,” said Chicago Bulls General Manager Gar Forman. “His toughness, defensive versatility, and shooting will be excellent additions to our perimeter rotation.”

Brown (6-5, 210) has appeared in 39 games (37 starts) for the Hornets this year, and averaged 9.7 ppg, 2.8 rpg and 1.5 apg in 24.8 mpg. On the season, he has shot .394 from the field, .367 from behind the arc and .802 from the line.
Pretty nice pickup for Chicago.

Most people hate him, but I like him. LOL He's got a decent inside game, just came out of shape to camp this year and didn't ever crack the rotation. He had some pretty solid games a few years ago.

LOL Well hopefully Devin Brown is somewhat decent. I've never been a big fan of his, but we'll see. I'm assuming this means that either John Salmons or Kirk Hinrich is on the way out in another deal, maybe?

That Hinrich trade would be ridiculously stupid for the Bulls.

^they just need a little more money freed up
he's got a huge contract and it would allow them to go after joe johnson or dwyane wade or chris bosh

That hinrich trade is ass. I would be ready to weep if one of my favorite hawks ever had to play with them.
