Lighting effects look good, but I don't like how you've illuminated the edges.
Maybe get rid of the lighting on the outside and darken the edges a bit. Sort of add focus to the render/text area. Not a big fan of the mosaic here either.

I like this. the mosaic should prolly be blurred just a bit, maybe not. dont like the illuminated edges but thats preference more than anything. I like the text. Nice job.

id say re-do the mosaic and do it at a smaller pixel size, and have it in more places, more prominently.
I'd swap out the background too. even if you want to keep the same landscape theme, just find a more interesting/higher quality one.
as far as text, id say just remove it all along with the shapes around it.
