Jeff Francoeur, now a member of the Royals, has made his feelings about Citi Field in New York known.

Francoeur played parts of the 2009 and 2010 seasons with the Mets.

"Citi Field is a damn joke," he told the Kansas City Star.

He noted that last season he crushed a drive to right-center that went 415 feet and hit the wall.

"That's pretty frustrating," said Francoeur, who hit .249 at Citi over the last two seasons.

Francoeur began this season with loose goals of 80 strikeouts and 50 to 60 walks. But he's always been an aggressive player, and he's wary of becoming too passive in the quest for a higher OBP.

"If on-base percentage is so important, then why don't they put it up on the scoreboard?" Francoeur says.
but i do think Citi could be a tad smaller

"WHHHAAAAA!! My baseball field is too big!!"

Okay Francouer...lets see this amazing season you'll have at the plate then in Kansas City. Enjoy playing games in front of 12 people.

lmao, excuses. What about all the doubles and triples that couldve gotten at Citi Field. I liked Jeff a lot when he was on the Mets, but now he's just being a little bitch.

You still have to hit the ball to be able to do something with it.

Size or no size, the dude swings at everything and pitchers know that.

This just goes to show how one-dimensional Francouer's bat is. He can only swing for the fences and that's it. Take those fences away and he's garbage.

Wait...what was his excuse for playing like such shit in Atlana?
