You know how they seed the division winners 1-4, then the Wild Card teams automatically get the 5th and 6th seed? Well, with the new rule, let's say the NFC South winner is 9-7, while one of the Wild Card teams is 10-6, that Wild Card team would get the 4th seed instead of the 5th seed, basically seeding including everyone, not just the division winners.

Well in the NBA it's just the 3 division leaders and the next best record, not everyone. IMO, it should be everyone and both leagues combined, that way we don't have teams like the Nets and Pacers in the playoffs but we do have Warriors, Nuggets, and Mavs in the playoffs.

Anyways, Buy, it was top 5 last year.
