According to ESPN.com, Dallas Cowboys T Flozell Adams has been fined $7,500 by the league for apparently trying to trip DE Julius Peppers in Monday Nights win over the Carolina Panthers.

Flozell Adams now has 25,000 in fines to this point -- 3 weeks into the season.

Both former DEs Michael Strahan and Warren Sapp have both publicly acknowledged that Adams is known throughout the league for that "move" and that it is a cheap shot. DE Justin Tuck was injured on the trip in Week 2, and later in the game Adams tried it on DE Osi Umenyiora.

"He didn't mean to kick anybody," Cowboys offensive line coach Hudson Houck said. "What happens is when you get out of balance, and you try to get your body over as best you can. That happens at times. We don't teach it and he doesn't try it. I tell him. 'You got to get in balance and get your body in the right position.'

Flozell does not believe he intentionally "kicked" or "tripped" Peppers, or Tuck or Umenyiora, and will appeal this fine. -- GMF

Is there a certain amount of fines you can have until you get suspended?

he says he didn't do it intentionally, yet you see him kick his leg out over and over again..
