Jags wont take a DE.. if we do.. then I lose hope in Gene Smith. He's took a Dlineman in almost EVERY pick last year.

Mooche, nah, that IMO is a smokescreen.
I'll look like a fool if they take him, but I think they'd take Locker over Ponder.

I wonder if the Browns will pair Haden with Peterson, since AJ might not be there, Julio is not good enough to go #6, Bowers and Fairley both falling. He seems like one of the few candidates for us if AJ doesnt fall.

They could really go with either of them. They won't sniff Mallett. It's going to be one of those two, if they go QB.

Yeah, Mallett wouldn't fit in that offense.
I do like Ponder too, but I'm not AS high on him as I was.

Nor am I. But Gene Smith does what the fuck he wants, and he seems to have interest in a QB at 16.

Let me clear the air on this.

Christian Ponder is a Gene Smith QB
Has the character, hard work ethic, and everything else that Gene Smith is looking for in a franchise QB.

Jake Locker is a hard worker, however has terrible accuracy and it could be to footwork. I think the "bust" rate on Locker could keep Gene away however

But Locker has way more upside. Lots of people, think, at best, Ponder will be just a good QB. Though if Locker hits his potential, he can be great.

I don't think either are going to be that excellent in the NFL..

Why would the lions trade back that much only to take ingram. Would give us two young running backs with two different styles.

Last week you said you liked Ponder..?
In this weak QB class, compared to the other guys, I like him... Doesn't mean he's going to be a stud in the NFL.

Ponder has potential to be Matt Ryan type.

Locker at best would prolly be a meh Donovan Mcnabb.

Ingram blows

He'd be my 5th RB off my board, tbh.
