Courier Post - Ravens safety Ed Reed lashed out at the organization for not meeting his request for a new contract and for not being more supportive in his recovery from a hip injury while making an appearance on a television station in Baltimore.

Reed added that the Ravens further agitated him by balking his at request for some game film.

"I had to give an excuse, that's what was told to me," Reed told WBAL in Baltimore. "This is the organization that you want me to play for."

A spokesperson for the Ravens called the incident some sort of misunderstanding.
