The Celts definitely wanted it more than the Lakers but enjoy it while it lasts. Danny Ainge traded every piece of their possible future for 2 good years. I can totally see a Miami Heatesque collapse after this win.

Phil Jackson will win his 10th NBA title within the next two years. Kobe Bryant isn't just going to lay back and watch this happen again.

Well yeah pretty much. That's what happens when you have no young players, your entire team just collapses. They should just be glad they were able to win the championship this year. (which they obviously are, lol)

Enough with the MJ comparisons already. There will never be another NBA player that influential ever again.

Kobe is the best basketball player on the planet but he has a SUPER young team that is just starting to come together.

The Boston Celtics will be right at the bottom again in five years where as the Lakers will still be at the top.

Kobe's time hasn't come yet, but expect 3 more championship rings before his career is all said and done.

He averaged 10 Rebounds in the finals, more than his regular season average. Also, Odom had 14/9. You guys cant keep using he doesnt have any help, because the Lakers got him the help, and thats the reason the Lakers were in the finals.
