Browns ILB Jackson (pectoral) out 4-8 weeks

Browns ILB D'Qwell Jackson will miss 4-8 weeks with a strained right pectoral muscle in his chest.
He's also getting a second opinion. Eight weeks would sideline Jackson until about October 10 -- the Browns' Week 5 game against Atlanta. We can't imagine he'll make the optimistic end of the timetable. In the meantime, the Browns figure to rotate Kaluka Maiava, Eric Barton, and perhaps others next to Chris Gocong. As if the Browns needed this to their already in tough defense. I like D'Qwell a lot. Sucks for them.

Hate to say it, but I agree. He is a good LB, but we should have dumped him when we had a market for him and he was worth something.
