Braves and Markakis agree to contract

The Atlanta Braves reportedly locked up one of the few remaining impact free agents Wednesday evening, agreeing to a four-year deal with veteran outfielder Nick Markakis, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports!

Yeah that is a solid deal. Always liked Markakis as a player.

It hurts them a bit defensively in the outfield, but it sounds like they're hell bent on trading an outfielder so at least they've got the only good replacement that was on the market.
