Serious question, when do Warriors fans get bored with their team and the NBA?

It's like in 2K when you when that first title, but you made your team so much better than anyone else that you win the next 8 titles as well, and eventually you get bored and upset because literally every game is a 40 point blowout.
your a college fan. How are alabama fans?

I'm guessing real warrior fans are bored especially with all the bandwagon fans

They watch for Steph and klay

i cant knock cousins. shit, this is how you should build a team, really. draft well and use free agency to your advantage. im just thinking how or when they'll start to break up. its going to have to happen. they can only afford the huge tax bill for so long.

So essentially what happened was Boogie and his people thought he was still deserving of a max deal. Obviously with that injury you cant offer a max deal without knowing how he responds to it on the court.

The Pelicans had a few different contracts on the table on July 1st. A 1 yr-16M dollar deal, a 1+1 with a players option, among others. These also had incentives built in where he could earn more than the base dollars.

Boogie basically felt disrespected and as a fuck you to the Pelicans he signed for the tax level MLE. Hes now out spreading lies such as the Pelicans didnt offer him a contract and Dell Demps told him he did not want him, neither of which are true. The Pelicans simply wanted to protect themselves in the event that Boogie never returned to form and now theyre on the books for a 5 year max deal.

There had to be other teams that would've offered him 120+ million regardless

If he had been patient somebody would have thrown something at him. The guy is just an emotional asshole and made a rushed emotional decision because the Pelicans werent offering what he felt he was worth. Now no team has his bird rights and the dude is going to miss out on a shit ton of money.

its not true tho

numerous reports that nola offered $15M for 1 year. but tbh if youre already offered half a max deal then why does it matter to go even lower

like 50% of a max deal to play for a 7 seed, or 16% of a max to win a title? if youre being lowballed, make them pay for it

He wasnt being lowballed though.

He was also being offered 3-4 different deals from the Pels, and all were incentive driven. He likely would have earned much more than just 16M.

1. Other teams didn't offer him anything.
2. He's injured and may not be back until February. Despite what he says.
3. Still sucks
4. When he is back it'll be playoffs which is the important time.

Not sure where you guys saw those Nola offers this offseason. Woj said he didn't get any.

He is right, technically speaking. No contract was ever put on the table, but his people and the Pelicans had been discussing a new deal for quite some time. He knew of 3-4 deals at midnight on July 1st that he could have chosen to sign if he wanted to. He felt disrespected by only being offered 16M.

And probably felt disrespected that he didn't have a lot of other offers too.

I wonder where he'll go after next season. Has to go to LA or team up with somebody somewhere.

Nola dropped the ball plain and simple.

Ain't no playing it safe with a player of his caliber. Pay him or not.

Year they dropped it about 5M after that, and when he turned that down they mutually agreed that he would test free agency.

All the local reports today are saying they arent the least bit angry or upset that he left, but they are absolutely fuming that he is spreading lies about the process.

To say the Pels dropped the ball is way off the mark, you cant risk giving him a max deal after having arguably the worst injury an NBA player can suffer. That would have been absolutely terrible team management.
