Well first off...

Crawford > Fisher

And I understand the Knicks are in a whole new regime, but I dont understand that trade. Mobley still has 2 years on his contract.... and Crawfod was the centerpiece of our offense.

wtf

No I get that, but if we trade the pieces that make us a better team then the Cavs supporting cast, why would he come to NYK?

BOLD PREDICTION: Clippers > Lakers
If they get Maggette back i agree, but i'm not sure if that is true if they don't get back Maggette. And i hate the Lakers so i would glad to see Clips better.

I dont think he's staying, the Spurs and Celtics both want him badly. Orlando also wants him.
I'd luv to see him on the Celtics

They won't get Corey back, they won't have the cap space. They'd go into major cap hell, also no way Corey signs the MLE in LA, he doesn't like it there.

And dez I see what your saying about the players and stuff, but thios could help the Knicks still.

So we differ on the Kaman/Bynum match up.
I'll take the Lakers starting lineup over the Clips though, as for the bench.

What do the Clips really have coming off the bench to make some impact? Eric Gordon, Tim Thomas, Brevin Knight and who else? Besides Kaman they're damned undersized in the frontcourt unless DeAndre Jordan takes some huge strides during the season. Thomas has been a bust of a signing(Clippers fans desperately want to get rid of him and he struggled in the latter part of the season), and Knight is a huge offensive liability. As of now you're really only looking at two quality guys coming off the bench for the Clippers... and one of them like I just said sacrifices a lot of offense.

LA has Jordan Farmar who over the course of the playoffs many have said is a starting PG in the league. He should take even more of Fisher's minutes next season. Sasha Vujacic? Vladamir Radmanovic? Luke Walton? Trevor Ariza?

Lakers Bench > Clippers Bench and it's not even close.

I'm only sad for losing Baron to a division rival and that no more Baron Davis = no more Jessica Alba. =[

Lakers as a whole are better than the Clip joint
and the Lakers haven't even started this off-season B)

when the Clippers re-sign EB to whatever's left, they wont have money for anyone else, right?
No more Livingston(they want him back)
No more Q-Ross(big part of that team. he'll probably chase the mula)
Corey's gone

meh, 5-6 seed at best

Eric Gordon is better than anybody on the Laker bench, just sayin...

Davis > Fisher
Maggette < Bryant
Thornton < Odom
Brand > Gasol
Kaman > Bynum

I like the Clippers bench, Gordon, Jordan, Knight, Thomas, Ross if he stays, Livingston if he's healthy. Maybe it's just because I'm not at all sold on the Lakers and think this year was somewhat of a fluke, they're NOT the best team in the West...

Livingston wont be back

how can you say Bynum is worse than Kaman?

Clippers potential line-up looks like this:
Kaman
Brand
Thornton
Mobley
Baron
Gordon,Knight,Powell,Thomas,Davis,Fazekas? as the bench

thats a nice team. 5th or 6th at best in the West
Lakers,Spurs,Rockets,Hornets,Jazz seem to be better at the moment IMO
the clips are on level with PHX, Dallas, and Denver
and dont forget about Portland

Well Bynum has had good players on his team. Kaman has had nothing, but Maggette and Brand (while he wasn't injured). Bynum is good, but IMO Kaman is better.

Yeah, Maggette,Livingston and Ross aren't coming back.

I'd put the Clippers above the Rockets and maybe above the Jazz.

Kaman had 15.7 PPG, 12.7 RPG, and 2.8 BPG.... How can you say Bynum > Kaman with such distinction?

Kaman is a much better rebounder (Bynum won't be in double digits with Gasol in town)
Kaman is a much better defender
Bynum can score, but I don't think he'll score as much as Kaman did... I understand he has Kobe, but still... They'll be about even in scoring next season (around 12-15 each)

Kaman's a better rebounder, yes
but Bynum is a better defender and scorer
oh yeah, did I mention he's only 20?
