In reply to "Worked with Drew Brees at Purdue.

So, Brees, Bulger, and Freeman are all good to me. "

Brees did nothing spectacular under Olsen. His best season was his last at Purdue.
Bulger? He had his worst seasons under Olsen.
Freeman? Trolol.
Jeff Harrington? Haha.

I'm sorry, but Olsen is the worst thing that could ever happen to a QB. He's like the fucking plague, he's a cancer to a cannon, an assassin to accuracy, a death to decision making, a asshat to awareness, a terror to a team ... I'll stop now.

Classified info.

QB coaches are irrelevant, talent prevails.

According to one of the Jags twitter, Brees won player of the year and some other award under Olson. Like said though, QB coaches are irrelevant and it's an upgrade over Mile Sheppard who was a WR coach turned QB coach because of some work he did in 1978...

Kam, you are straight foolish if you think QB coaches are irrelevant.
Good coaching is huge in determining if a high pick QB busts or not.

QB coaches aren't important unless you have some huge mechanic flaw they can point out and help you with.. They aren't going to improve your ability to be more accurate and go through reads.

They won't help if you are a vet. But for young guys developing it's very important. I know I've read Locker saying without the coaching he's gotten he wouldn't be close to where he is.
Look at all those bust QB's. I can guarantee lots of them busted because they didn't get coaching. They all had the physical tools, and if they had a passion for they game.. it's coaching.

Hell, look at Tom Brady. Even he has a QB guru guy that helps him out when he's in a slump.

Honestly, I think I have to use the ignore function on you. Never had to use it before.
Why would you have to use the ignore thing after that post? I simply pointed out the reasoning behind why he didn't respond in the other thread.

Don't get butthurt.

Its funny seeing how fans get so asshurt over their OC getting fired and going to another team. Some things just don't work out, doesn't mean he can't have success elsewhere. As for "All those bust QBs" ...

Which ones?

He worked with Marc Bulger, Jeff Garcia, Josh Freeman, Drew Brees.

Joey Harrington is his only bust.

@timkawakami: I don't judge new coaches by last game/season of coordinator years. McCarthy was OC of worst 49ers offense ever
