Tossed together a few warm up wallpapers. Trying to get back into this as I mentioned in the Sept 12 nightly discussion thread.

Here are two walls that I put together to get the creative juices flowing:

The second one is cool just a little too bright, I'm not really feeling the text on the first one. I'm sure you'll get going again, I know it can take time.

yeah it takes time, just keep practicing. and wow that second one hurt my eyes, lol.

yeah the text came out to be a bit much and basic. wasnt too crazy about it myself. i hate the rounding of the outline.

Not Ducks but had a great picture that I wanted to use. Going to have to retire for tonight and gather more resource things like fonts and textures. Also lack brushes as you can tell from this one.

Forgot about brushes, only get scratch, paint splatter and use the basic soft brushes.

the fractals come in handy. depends on how far you want to go with designing your own backgrounds.

I found some of my old images. Now before you look at these, take a look at these: (esp. the ones at the bottom of the page labeled "classic wallpaper" to see what mine were competing with. Notice the "big leap" in design quality)

These are not the ones that hit the NHL as I do not "own" those any longer. However, I will see if I can "archive" them from the NHL servers.

I like the second one, but as said before darken it a little and it will be better.
