Celtics guard Ray Allen would like for people to stop referring to the trio of himself, Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce as 'The Big Three', according to The Boston Herald.

"Any time there was that label, whether it was on TV, in a newspaper or we saw it traveling to another city, we just did our best to downplay it," Allen said. "That’s because this is the Big 15. We have 15 guys on this team that have contributed all year."

"It’s not going to be the three of us that are ultimately going to win the championship," he continued. "It took all 15 players. Scot Pollard contributed before he went down, and Brian Scalabrine was big, stepping up when we needed him. The things guys like that did for us as a team allowed us to shape this team."
I agree 100% with Allen, besides hearing Big 3 at least once a day gets irritating.

Well I think he'd rather have them called the Boston Three Party anyways...

The team really isn't much more than those 3 players anyways with role players. He didn't say anything about it before they won...

Big 15? They have a Big 3, with two average starters in the PG/Center position who are only doing somewhat good because of the Big 3.. They have nice role players but half will be gone for more money in the off-season.
