Wait a minute, didnt Johnnie create a post three weeks ago asking if the White Sox are contenders? And Johnnie proving why they are.

And three weeks later we are talking about a fire sale?
It's Johnny, get used to it. This is a mild flip flop for him.

This is an opinion topic that doesn't belong in the News forum.

Remember when Johnny said Kris Bryant would be a massive bust?

Good times

Or when Johnny said Arrieta could never compare to Chris Sale?

Good times

Or when in the same thread Johnny said Anthony Rizzo would never compare to Jose Abreu?

Good times

They should trade him before it gets worse.

If any team is willing to part with the necessary package, how can they not?

I still don't get how he pitches for this team again. He roasted their GM over the LaRoche situation, cut up jerseys, and said the team values business more than winning.

Talk about burning bridges.

I respect Sale for what he said.

Nothing he said isn't something everyone has been saying for years. Their FO has been living in Lala land the past few years thinking they were some small moves away from competing.

I wish the Twins would get in on this but even if they did I doubt the Sox would trade him here.  Anyways Mad respect for what he said tho

With the staff they have if they could get just average hitting they'd be in it year in and year out.  It hasn't worked out.

Sale is a top pitcher who happens to be a toolbox.  That is not worthy of respect.
