We will be starting our 5th annual SI player rankings.  Last year we only go to the SF position, but I'm quite determined to get the rankings completely finished this year.

Don't be afraid to share your opinion, whether it's a popular one or not.  We will once again be going 10 spots deep at all 5 positions.

Please remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, and don't be a nola.
Most of the polls will be open 24 hours, but if the first place vote getter gets 5 or more votes than the second vote getter than I will close the thread if I'm around. Nola and I will be guys running the polls in order to try to get this done this time around.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.  Who would you take today?

2015 SI SG Rankings

2) Jimmy Butler
3) Klay Thompson
4) Dwyane Wade
5) JJ Redick
6) Wes Matthews
7) Bradley Beal
8) Kobe Bryant

I mean, CC controls a fourth of the vote when he really wants to by getting pm7 and tyo to vote. My votes are futile

Taking Korver here is highly questionable.

I mean you and dan couldn't stop talking about how poor Kobe's efficiency was, yet Korver just posted the 4th greatest TS% in NBA History, only behind >7ft centers. Something's got to give

Nothing has to give. Kobe is a guy that is expected to score, and while he has done that, he has been incredibly inefficient at doing so. Then you have Korver, who 4th highest or not, isn't shooting up any boards because he's incredibly efficient. He is who he is, and that is a shooter and floor spacer, nothing more. Two totally different scenarios. There are probably like six better all around players still left on the board.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for him, but he shouldn't have been lol. Just like he's not a top 10 SG.

I think he's kind of overrated because of who he plays for.

But that's really it. You have some other guys on this list that can just do more.

I'd rather have Green. Great defender, great shooter. Knows his role. Isn't going to lose you games. Is going to help win you a bunch.

I just wouldn't want a guy like Tyreke on my team

But you want Kobe, who is basically Tyreke but less efficient and controls the ball more?

Right?

I'd love to have a guy like Tyreke on my team.
