It is time to vote for the top 5 players at every position. Alot has changed in the last season so this should make for great discussion. Please try and vote for the best player and don't be a homer! I'll leave the polls open for about a day or so and after that we'll carry on to the #3 PG and so on. I will more than likely add more players as we go since you can only add 20 at a time.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

2011 TOP 5 PF RANKINGS
1) Dirk Nowitzki
2) Amar'e Stoudemire
3) Pau Gasol
4) Kevin Love
5)

2011 TOP 5 SF RANKINGS
1) Lebron James
2) Kevin Durant
3) Carmelo Anthony
4) Rudy Gay
5) Paul Pierce

2011 TOP 5 SG RANKINGS
1) Dwyane Wade
2) Kobe Bryant
3) Joe Johnson
4) Monta Ellis
5) Eric Gordon

2011 TOP 5 PG RANKINGS
1) Chris Paul
2) Deron Williams
3) Derrick Rose
4) Rajon Rondo
5) Steve Nash

I also went with Zach Randolph. His offensive play on the block is unreal, the only person who competes with it is probably Dirk.

Zbo put up similar numbers on a competitive team.. Last I remembered, post moves and mid range jumpers are worth the same amount of points as an open court dunk.

Sure they are, but you can only get so far with open court dunks.

I'd take a guy that can hit shots from the block before a guy that can throw down nasty dunks any day of the week.

Umm... I think that's what cheato meant.

Anyway, Z-Bo should have been #4, so obviously gonna vote for him again.

Idk how the arguement that Randolph "carried" the Grizzlies could possibly be used. Rudy Gay (for half the season), Allen/Battier are GREAT defenders, Conley is a good PG, Gasol is a good C, OJ Mayo off the bench, that is a GOOD ASS TEAM.

Lots of people say he carried them, which I think he did during some games.

He was their main go-to-guy all year pretty much....if thats not carrying, I don't know what is. Sure he got help, but a huge load was on his shoulders.

ZBo > Blake RIGHT NOW. Blake will most likely be better in the future, but ZBo is better at the moment and this is asking who's better now. Blake's dunks are blinding the people. ZBo is the better player until people think of Blake as more then a dunker (I know he does more then that, but that's all people think when they here Blake Griffin)

I see I'm the odd man out going with LaMarcus.

Blake is very underrated as far as his skills are concerned. His passing/dribbling skills for a player his size are incredible

i agree 10000000000% i've seen him dribble in that commercial (I know that's not much, but it's still something) and he passes pretty well. I just don't think he's top 5 yet tho.

He's DEFINITELY top 5 (easily should've been put above Love). I get an arguement for Randolph over him but personally I think Griffin is better.

I see both sides of the arguement being valid, but I chose to say ZBo in this situation. it's truly a preference thing tbh.
