We will be starting our 3rd annual SI player rankings. The first year we did this it sparked great debate, I'm hoping to get back to that this year. Unfortunately last year I did not finish the rankings for whatever reason, but this year we need to all make it a goal to finish them. We'll be going 10 deep this year.

Remember these two things, please vote on the polls and vote for the best player, don't be a homer. I will leave the polls open at my own discretion. Most will be open 24 hours, but if there is one where it's a clear runaway then there is no point in delaying the voting.

Remember, this is based on who is currently the best player, not who has the potential to be the best.

Don't understand how Love is #1... especially in a unanimous vote.

I felt the same way.  A lot of people hate Blake as a player, but glancing at his advanced numbers, they're up there among some of the best in the league.  He's also more efficient than Aldridge.

And it's funny because I'd take AD over both. But that may just be the fact that I'm thinking towards the future and can't break that thought. I don't know.

But I also don't want to vote for him because I don't think he's the #2 PF in the league.

I'm going to have to really think about this one.

Where the hell was this thinking towards the future attitude when you were willing to take everyone over Kyrie?

And by everyone I mean like 4 guys
