2021 Rookie Draft

As with last year, a bit of a backstory:

I believe last year's rookie draft to have been a great success. It seems most GM's have warmed to the idea of having fictional prospects in the league, with the free re-naming of players to current, realistic prospects softening the blow for some. While a few may have inflated ratings, I believe that the added juice is good for the league. With that said, there's one thing that I did not account for, and that is the sheer number of new players coming into the draft classes. By default, FBB generates 100 fictional rookies. The typical sizes of our draft classes ranged from 65-75, which is obviously a lot less. Because of this, I've instituted one new rule with these fictional draft classes, and I'd like to call it "The Purge". Right before every draft class, I will delete a number of players completely at random from the class. Think of this as the players opting to return to school for the next season (though you'll never actually see them again, so maybe think of this as them dying). This year, I decided to purge off 20 players. Next year, that number will raise to 25. It might have been all scrubs, or it might have killed off one or two of the top guys on your big board. Everything was done completely randomly, so you're just going to have to deal with it.
