Kevin Martin got to the line at a high rate and was also an elite to near elite shooter

Zach isnt him

I'd compare Lavine to Ricky Davis, maybe JR Smith

Better comp in terms of empty calorie stats kind of players.

Like Monta Ellis.

Lavine has a lot of potential, though. He's a significantly better athlete than any of these guys.

Prime JR was as close as you can get to LaVine's athleticism though

The perspective youre thinking of it in is let me compare him to a former Celtic that I never watched play but reddit has told me about

like Kevin Martin and Ricky Davis were volume scorers, but their teams blew. Toine put up numbers to bring Boston to above-mediocrity, which is what Im saying Lavine will do.

He looked very good last night, so as far as I'm concerned, he's an all star.

I'll reevaluate after he shits the bed in the next preseason game.

comparing Lavine to a stretch 4 is just weird Lol

There's plenty of wing volume scorers to comp

Kevin never went above 16 attempts per game, and that wasn't until the end in Minnesota

He got to the line a lot. Not a volume guy
Scorer though. Not much of a playmaker
