Harden winning one when no one even is going for it this year kind of wack

Kawhi been out
Kyrie doesnt really care
Russ doesnt care anymore
Bron doesnt care
KD and steph dont care
Giannis stopped trying after like a month

Leaves AD trying now but he got a late start

No competition for mvp this year

Boring
Yea none of those guys care at all, just an excuse for you to justify Harden deservedly winning it

I mean i dont think they really care about winning MVP, just all about winning games. Only Russ last year really cared about winning the award at potential team expense

Harden doesnt care either, and no player really should put their own success above the team

yes, houston could beat the warriors. boston could beat them as well

That said, nobody will beat GSW in a series this season.
Boston needs to worry about the north before we talk gsw

At least LeBron likely has to play both of those teams and without home court advantage. Probably his toughest eastern conference road since 2012

Might have to worry about Philly before even playing Cleveland

You act like Boston is in a higher tier than Toronto, i never really understood that.

The East is a notch better this year I feel competition wise. I don't really see many sweeps, if any, happening in the East 1st round. I don't have that much confidence in just one or two teams. And I personally need a bigger sample size of Lebron's new team to be convinced they're a sure favorite. I didn't watch any Cleveland games lately though so it's not necessarily an educated opinion. I like Milwaukee and Philly a lot, even Miami can be a headache sometimes.

Ill give Harden credit for the regular season, i really will if he wins it. Hes been great

BUT

dont tell me i didnt tell you so when playoffs come around

Mexi, you have gotten so lost in this regular season success man. I really feel like youll be so disappointed in the playoffs. You’re really really forgetting how much Dantoni gets exposed in the playoffs when his team cant play fast anymore. I really hope you dont think that this is how Houston is going to be killing teams in the playoffs when everything slows down

When Rockets are knocked out early in the playoffs, i wont be kicking you while youre down but dont come in here shocked about Rockets losing like it wasnt seen a mile away. And trust me, itd be awesome if im wrong, and itd be awesome to see gsw go down but im sorry dude, its not happening

The cp3s traditional 2nd round. Depends a lot on the matchups tho obviously

Wcf would be great success for them tho

Im just really praying for a houston and okc second round. People can shit on okc now but come playoff time, itll be a different story. They’re more suited for the playoffs. They’re also a matchup nightmare for gsw with their length/physicality/athletisicm. The only team imo that makes gsw uncomfortable

I have no doubt in my mind that everything will flip come playoff time and Rockets will start to struggle while okc starts doing work

In a slow pace grind out game id take okc over houston everytime. In a fast pace regular season game, houston no doubt

Two games back off a 3rd seed with two less games played than wolves

Its in their hands now and i think they’ll get to it and houston will drop to 2nd

OKC vs Houston 2.0 . SI needs it

i would say that last year we were a tier above toronto, but i wouldnt say that this year. i could easily see boston losing in the 2nd round this season if we play yall or cleveland

my main point was to refute mexi that we have to overcome you guys. the east still runs through cleveland, so it doesnt matter if we beat philly, toronto, washington, (boston in the case of the other teams in the east)... if you cant beat the cavs in the playoffs it means nothing

i do think were equal tiered this season, mostly due to the play of VanVleet. A strong second unit point guard is HUGE, and thats why Bostons success is 100% predicated on Smart and Rozier not sucking dick
