back to back nights in a row where in a 1-2 point game marcus has his man contained, and we for some reason decide to trap marcus' man to leave a wide open shooter for three to ice it

thats gotta stop

Kyrie was 7-25
because when the other four players on the court are two guys under 21 y/o, marcus smart, and al horford, you're gonna double and trap kyrie all game and let anybody else beat you

thats why hayward was such a big loss

honestly? it might. kyrie's never been one to look for contact, and that's gonna hurt the team for sure. look at westbrook last season -- he had an awful supporting cast at stretching the floor, but he just drove to the hoop forcefully and out-muscled everyone for the baskets. thats not kyrie's game, which is built off finesse and flashiness.

hayward's injury affected kyrie more than it did to any other player in the league tbh. like you can call it "me making excuses", but i try to look at things realistically rather than just being a pretentious prick like you. boston's offense needs some work and remedy, even from kyrie

In the 3rd quarter and not a single bench player has over 10 minutes played. Classic Thibs

Minnesota out here with a lineup that doesn’t have Wiggins, Towns or Butler. The hell you doing, Thibs?

Hahah just saw the post above me. Anyways, if the Wolves miss the playoffs, they wouldn’t consider firing Thibs, would they?

Game one of the regular season. Relax
Just saying, two straight years of underperforming expectations, not that they will or they should, but maybe Thibs isn’t as great as we had thought. Perhaps this belonged in the hot take thread
