As much of an advantage as he has at PF, I doubt we see much of that. I realize that as he gets older it will be less stress on him athletically, but he's not going to want to take a beating every night.

In todays game, he doesnt have to be down low all the time . Can easily be out on the three point line stretching out the floor and just constantly attack on a slower defender

My point is why would the thunder trade Oladipo (their only above replacement level offensive wing -- without him their starting lineup is Roberson who is awful offensively, and Singler who is awful on both sides) for a guy who while being an upgrade over Ilyasova does nothing to help the already too large list of unathletic big men on their roster?

The trade makes no sense for either side; multiple people have told you that. Better luck next time
