He wanted to keep that 200 ip streak going. Honestly don't think it really matters that much though, 198 ip is good nonetheless.

Greinke finishes with a 1.66
His era never went below 2.00
You mean above?

Congratz to Scherzer, Mets are putting the Dodgers in a false sense of security with our poor performance these past 2 weeks.....

Totally gonna lose the series

Joe torre would let his players be manager and coaches on the last day if they clinched

Donnie adopted that too

JRoll is manager lol. Funny seeing him make pitching changes
Hes wearing Tommy Lasorda's jersey

Poor Buehrle man, didn't want it to end this way for real.
Yeah he's pretty much been battling with a dead arm for most of the season. Kudos to him for still having a respectable season. Gonna be difficult finding someone who can consistently give you 200+ innings every season.

Probably not a HOF player but he might get some consideration.

If there was a Hall of Sustained Mediocrity, he'd be first ballot for sure.

He's been an average pitcher throughout his career. I'm not saying he was bad, but at best he's a 3rd starter who should probably be a 4th. He deserves credit for the longevity though, and for the fact that he really only had one truly awful season. He was dependable, but the only reason he'd get consideration for the hall of fame is because the media likes him.

Fair enough. I don't think he'll be in the HOF, but he's had an awesome career.

Chris Davis is going to get paid, and it won't be by the Orioles, and I'm already upset about it

Why are they saying the Buehrle runs are unearned?
