If that kid is actually 14, pretty impressive that he broke the Pablo and Hanley deals.

It's almost as if we shouldn't trust a 14 year old with a twitter account.

so not shocking lol

he's literally an a-typical yankee. overachieving pitcher, signing for more than he's worth.

Apparently the O's are going to let Markakis go too.

Have no idea where this team is going

Medlen and Beachy non-tendered by the braves.

Medley would be a good low risk pickup for any team IMO.

They aren't willing to go more than 4 yrs with him, I think.

I don't blame em.

Markakis is steady. He's not the best player in the world but he's so consistent and I don't think his skills would regress with age. On top of that he's an amazing right fielder. I'll be really upset when we let him go.

Apparently the Braves are pursuing Markakis.

I guess I'm ok with that. Not as talented as Heyward, and older, but the production has been relatively the same.

Also, since the Braves are apparently rebuilding, I would imagine Kimbrel to see the door as well.

#Mariners have traded OF Michael Saunders to #BlueJays for LHP J.A. Happ, according to a source. More to come at http://t.co/gtnhE8SFiG

O's will be fine, CC

I know sox and jays have done their part trying to upgrade, but it's still early in the offseason and I bet you a healthy Machado and Wieters make a huge difference.

They're always going to be competitive, regardless.

Baseball is so random sometimes.

And to that point, there was a chance the O's might not have made it at all if the Sox and Yankees were healthy and didn't suck.

Point is, it's only December

It just bugs me that the front office has the pieces of a contender in home and just let's it go for no reason. We have the money to pay these guys and choose not to.
