Zobrist has been on my squad for a whole 3 months. Can confirm he's a waffle man

FORBES - In Dusty Baker the Nationals are getting a man who understands people and knows how to work with young superstars to take them to the next level. Make no mistake: The single key to turning the Nats into a World Series team is not studying lefty-righty matchups, or contemplating WAR, but teaching Bryce Harper how to be a man.

I'd be pretty surprised if Glass doesn't pony up for this one.  He's got a pretty strong incentive to be competitive through 2018 (our piss poor god awful TV deal will finally be up for renegotiation before the 2019 season).  I think we keep one of Zobrist/Gordon (I'd prefer Gordon, can't see him in another uniform :( ), platoon in right field between Orlando/Dyson/Starling if he can make it to the majors, and try to find a starting pitcher.

Post 2017 will be the really interesting offseason.  IIRC Hosmer/Cain/Escobar/Moose will be up then.

In the afterglow of the Royals’ championship clinch, general manager Dayton Moore, unprompted, said this: “[The Indians] prepared us for this [Mets] pitching staff. They’ve got one of the best in the game. They’re going to be coming soon.”
So this basically means the Indians get 1/4 of the world series trophy, I think

Its out there apparently

And lets be honest, the indians arent gonna sign a yoenis or jup or heyward or crush davis

To get a young power bat like puig with a ton of potential youre gonna have to give up a starter

I dont want to trade puig anymore either. I think hes gonna be great again

He really isn't even a power bat

Regardless, Indians won't trade Salazar for a risk like that

People predicting the Mets sign Ian Desmond.

Please no. He's gotten worse every year.

I can see that happening. Tried to trade for him and it didnt work out. Desmond at SS and Flores at 2B.

I wonder what hes like defensively, adequate I would say.

OPS has gone down every year since 2012.

I'd rather get 16 bombs from Flores and he costs like 600k.

I do t understand some of these awards. When was their ever a Wilson defensive player of the year award? And how come you can win that but not a gold glove?
