Browns select Dee Milliner

Was ready to take Geno at #6 if available, but alas, with him off the board I went with Milliner. The Browns filled defensive needs on the defensive line and a pass rushing outside linebacker for the new 3-4. Pairing Milliner with Haden in the secondary is very exciting.

With the 8th pick, the Buffalo Bills select Cordarrelle Patteron.

Most people think the Bills go QB with this pick, but with Geno Smith off the board Patterson seems to be the next best option.

With the 11th pick, the San Diego Chargers select...

Ziggy Ansah, OLB, BYU

San Diego has a number of holes to fill at G, T, DE, OLB, CB, and S. The selection of Ansah is basically a BPA pick. Ansah may have a bit of a up hill battle in the NFL but the reward is far greater than the risk.

With the 13th overall pick, the Tampa Bay Bucs select Star Lotulelei.

The Bucs need to add another DT after losing starter Roy Miller in free agency. Lotuleli should even provide a upgrade over Roy Miller.

With the 14th overall pick, the Carolina Panthers are proud to select OG Chance Warmack.

Selecting Warmack is a good start to upgrading a rather unimpressive offensive line. The Panthers fielded arguably the worst guard tandem in the league last year so Warmack will be a welcome addition. The Panthers also have needs at WR, RT, DT, S, and CB but we felt like Warmack was the best value pick.

With the 15th pick, the New Orleans Saints select Barkevious Mingo:

The Saints are thrilled to add an explosive pass rusher to their defense. Mingo will be a 34 OLB and while he may not start from day one, he'll be used heavily in certain packages.

The St. Louis Rams, with the 16th overall pick, select WR Tavon Austin from West Virginia University.

With Amendola gone, the Rams lack a slot receiver, and Tavon is gone by their next pick at 22. He's the fastest player in the draft, and will be a good target for Mr. Bradford

With the 18th pick, the Cowboys select Shariff Floyd from Florida

The Cowboys are transitioning to a 4-3 defense and need the help inside.
