Yeah, but him going elsewhere could bite Portland on the bum.

the lockout may have helped his knees so i would think him leaving could be bad for them. he wont be the player he was(or what we expected) but he can still be a solid player that im sure can take over games every now and then.

I'd be shocked if Portland didn't use it on Roy.
As sad as it is, I think Roy is just going to be a shell of his former self for the rest of his career.

couple things

1. too soon to amnesty Roy. maybe eventually, but if im portland i give him this short season to prove his worth

2. sucks that Aaron Brooks, Wilson Chandler and JR Smith dont have an out-clause for their overseas contracts. what dumbasses

other notables too. Pooh Jeter, Sasha Vujacic, CDR, Patty Mills, Kenyon Martin, Scalabrine, Sonny Weems

This is easily the best thing I've heard about the new CBA, great news.
i like it

but i just think it's funny how the article says it's a laker rule

past few years when some decent players got bought out, did any sign with the lakers? nope

this past season, look who dallas got. brewer and peja. other years it was mcdyess, gooden, etc

lol just me being frustrated. i always wanted to sign these guys, but it never worked

anyways, i heard that even with the new setup, it's unlikely anyone would want baron so he'll be able to pick his team

The Blazers are expected to use their amnesty clause on Brandon Roy immediately.

"Brandon's out," a league executive said on Monday. "Don't know the exact details, but everyone around the league knows it's way, way done. Paul and Bert (Kolde) are calling the shots on this one."

Roy frequently played hurt and came back from injury too soon on multiple occasions in way that put his career in jeopardy.
The Warriors would be interested in signing Brandon Roy if he is waived by the Blazers, according to sources.

Roy’s former agent, Bob Myers, is now the assistant GM for the Warriors. Roy would also prefer to stay on the West Coast. Golden State would prefer to sign a big man, but Roy makes sense for them to add depth as a playmaker.

The Oregonian reported on Monday that the Blazers intend to use their amnesty clause on Roy immediately.

The 2012 NBA Draft has been confirmed for Thursday, June 28th.

Because the start of the season has been pushed back, Game 7 of the NBA Finals would take place on Tuesday, June 26th.

The Jazz are shopping Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap, according to league executives.

The Jazz appear eager to build their frontcourt around the younger combination of Enes Kanter and Derrick Favors.

id love if we could somehow nab milsap.

Get rid of Gordon for him and I'd be happy lol.
But other than that, I'd just rather wait and tank for the draft.

CP3 would also consider signing extension w/LA Clippers. But Clips' 1st choice is Dwight Howard, sources say....
hmmm
so chris paul's 2nd choice is the clippers

hmmmm. im pretty sure i said they'd get either him or Deron
you guys keep hating. looks like i wasnt talking out of my ass at all

you'd be crazy as a pg to not consider Blake/DeAndre/Gordon as your running mates

dont worry, i know im getting ahead of myself. it's just nice to know it's in the media now and not just from me

Are we jumping from the Laker wagon so soon?

It's also convenient how you forget who the Clippers' owner is.

Damn there are some very good FA centers out there this year, we really need one...

I would love to get Gasol or Chandler on the Knicks. I dont think it will happen though.

Gasol is re-signing...or Memphis is going to match any offer.

Chandler will most likely resign as well.

Nene I can see going anywhere...maybe the Clippers if they don't try to get CP3.
