He's gonna have a great year for sure though. Actually has protection in the lineup now with Carlos Santana, and hopefully Asdrubal stays healthy this year in front of him.

Well I guess he could win MVP if they decide to give it to someone undeserving again.

Don't worry, I've already been over this on this site and have already proved that there are other players way more deserving, including one on the Red Sox so he can't claim I was biased because he's a Sox

Youk should have been MVP, but Pedroia should have been top 3 still. Mauer and Youk were the only ones truly better. The season he had as a 2B is darn remarkable

Well, Don Mattingly for sure does. I wasn't paying attention at the end of the game, then I look up and see him talking to reporters, thought it was Bill Murray

I guess he does as well, but Ted Lilly looks more like a mongoose to me, or Urban Myer

Opening Day and we already had a walk off win, and an extra inning game.

Also, Jason Heyward hit another Opening Day homer. 2 years, 2 homers. Nice way to start out your career.

I will once the Doc retires lol

Seriously though he has great stuff and a Cy Young is definitely in his future.
