He doesn't strike out a lot of guys usually (Which for one, surprises me because he clearly has the stuff to strike out a ton of guys), so I thought the Tigers would mash him.

nova has 5 k's, but i feel like this isn't his best stuff today

but then again, i dont see him often so maybe this is his best and im judging him poorly

Some games he looks flat out filthy, but most of the time this is Nova.

Pretty sure Girardi is only using him as the #3 hitter against righties cause Teixeira is hitting only like .220 against them.

As long as CC pitches whenever Verlander pitches, I don't care when he does. But we need to match-up CC with JV no matter what.

That rain last night was the worst thing that could happen to the Tigers. I even saw people saying that it hurt the Yankees more. Verlander is much more important to the Tigers then CC is to the Yankees.

I'd put Clayton #1, but im biased
otherwise i'd have Halladay 1, Kershaw 2, Verlander 3, Lee 4, Hamels 5. best in baseball

Verlander is awesome. easy Cy Young, great season
but they act like this is the best season in 20 years. it's not

I hate how everyone blows up Verlander's season too... someone has had this good of a season every year of every MLB season except for wins which are a useless stat.

Like I've said before, Greinke's 2009 season is better than Verlander's 2011.

why dont Kershaw and Halladay get MVP consideration?
i havent heard MVP with them AT ALL

and other than Kemp, Grandy, Ells, and Bautista are better than the NL batters
