Jeff Risdon/RealGM - No commentary with the picks on this one because so many of the underclassmen are still up in the air in terms of draft status. With Jake Locker committing to remaining at Washington (good move, he’ll benefit in the long-term), the top end of the draft gets decidedly defensive.

This mock has more of a defensive and quickness feel to it. I can see a lot of the RBs and QBs going higher than slotted here, but from what I’m gathering, teams aren’t especially high on either positional grouping right now. Some of that is smokescreening and needing more evaluation, but I’ll be shocked if any QBs other than Clausen or RBs other than Spiller crack the top 20.

Once past the 50th pick, pay more attention to draft/player slot than what the team picking might be, because this is prime trade area and I’m going for players in those spots more than the marriage between teams and players. Some fit, some don’t, and if you send me an email castigating for your team’s picks in that range, I’m going to assume you can’t read well...

i will cry if the Patriots take Taylor Mays, that would be an awful pick. Follow that up with a Georgia Tech WR/ Florida LB? BB won't take that approach.

Where is Golden Tate? If Gerhart is there for the Giants in the 2nd round I think he would be worth taking.

I'm hoping the way the records are looking now, that the Lions pick up Suh with the #2 pick.

I can't really see St. Louis passing on Clausen.

why would Washington want Brennan and Clausen?

and I wouldn't mind seeing Colt McCoy as our QB, although I'd probably prefer Tebow

I'd cream myself if we got Gerald McCoy, Best, and Warren.

because Clausen is a better prospect than Brennan was/is. Also Tebow is going to be a bad NFL QB.

I agree with pack takin Anthny Davis in the 1st but what about targetin a CB in the 2nd instead of another Tackle, Lang played well for a rookie this year when needed, while after Harris went down we were screwed because Williams is only decent at coverin and after that its just nasty. But guess Pack do have Lee and Underwood both younder CBs that they are groomin, so I dunno
