When Rodney closes, you never know haha.
Though he has only blown 1 save this year, and we still won that game lol.

Nevermind they managed not to lose it. HUGE win.

Now we need to depend on Bonine and Robertson to get a win for us. Oh lawd.
Our worst 2 pitchers in the rotation closing out the series, awesome.

Yankees win 4-3 over the Royals in a game where our back-ups mostly played.

We lead the majors in walk-off hits and comeback wins with 15 and 50 respectively.

Farnsworthless blew the save :D

Suprisingly, the Grandy homer was the game for us. We would`ve lost it, or at least had a chance to lose it in extra innings, like we did the first game, if he didn`t homer and put us up 6-4.

I`m worried about our pitchers the last two games of the series, especially Robertson. Bonine has the potential to get things done. If he pitches more like he did last start, and we get the hitting to back him up, we should be fine. As for Robertson, we need the hitting to back him up, and than some because we will be down most of the game when he allows 2+ every inning.

Kurt Suzuki has to be one of the most underrated players in the game. Period.
Just how good is Suzuki? Well, in addition to being extremely durable, as evidenced by the fact that he's leading AL catchers in starts for the second consecutive season, he's been so productive at the plate and behind it that, in the minds of many, only MVP candidate Joe Mauer of the Twins ranks ahead of him among the best backstops in the league.

"He's my No. 2, and it's a clear No. 2," says former Athletics infielder Shooty Babitt, a current big league scout and baseball analyst for Comcast SportsNet California. "And he's not far behind Mauer, if you ask me. We're talking about a guy who can do it all, and he's less than three years in.

"The sky's the limit for this kid."

It might be a stretch, though, to call Suzuki a kid. Yes, 25 is young. But he's had to grow up in a hurry since being named the Johnny Bench Award winner as the country's best collegiate catcher in 2004 after helping Cal-State Fullerton to that year's College World Series title.
This guy gets hardly any credit. Could be cuz he plays for a bad team, but still.

Kurt is pretty good, but to say he is close to Mauer is just blasphemous. He is a way better hitter on the road which is understandable.

2 runs will be all the Twins need, cause Pavano is going to rape us.
And Bonine will surely give up more.

<Censored>ty ass Tigers.

cabrera should be hitting 3rd, not 4th

i hate when teams who suck at offense bat their best guy 4th
pads are finally batting Adrian 3rd

He has hit 3rd this year, but he didn't do as good as he does when he hits 4th.

oh ok

but thats just a thing that kinda irks me

i guess i understand it in the sense that the guy hitting 3rd, in this case Clete Thomas(lol wtf?), can see better pitches, but i'd rather have my best have as many ab's as possible

Yeah Clete is only playing cause he is a lefty. He has been blowing major cock though of late, I'd rather see Huff hit 3rd if they really want a lefty to hit 3rd that bad.

Bases juiced for Inge with 0 outs.
I predict a double play, getting the runner going home out in the process.

Edit: I lied. Double bringing in 2 runs. Bout damn time Inge.

Justin Masterson is pitching amazing right now... 8 innings, 11 K's, and 1 run. Only at 95 pitches as well, too bad we can't score for him :/
