Denard Span was a beast towards the end of last season. I agree with you that he could really break out this season

oh yeah Frontpage Stardom knows
If he's hitting in front of Manny for a whole season, watch out.
last year he was killer in front of Manny

Matt Kemp could be a 20/20 guy, and James Loney got bigger from last year. He's in his man body now. I think the power is gonna show a little more this year as well

Choo could be anywhere from 3-6 in the Indians lineup.

But yea, I can't wait to see Choo play this year, in 90 games last year he hit .309 with 14 homers, 66 RBIs and 28 doubles and it was coming off having Tommy John surgery.

speaking of Indians, I like Hafner to have a good comeback year. IDK about 35+ homers but I can see him anywhere from 25-30 and driving in nearly 100.

Eh, I am not normally one of those guys who looks at Spring training but Hafner has really struggled in ST and hasn't been himself ever since his MVP type year. But hopefully he does comeback, he is due a lot of money and if he can produce our lineup will be deadly.

The Mariners also gave us Asdrubal Cabrera for Eduardo Perez a few seasons ago, and Cabrera is now a top defensive middle-infielder. He did great in the home stretch for the playoffs in 2007 after being called up. He struggled early last year, Indians sent him down to work on his swing in the minors and he came back for the last month and I believe he was batting .400 in the final month.

Not this year at least, we have a club option for him I believe, if he has another great year we'll have to trade him mid-season the year after or hope he takes somewhat of a "home" discount

How well a player does in spring training is like those Spring cliches you here when players first arrive. Guys are always coming in "in great shape", "20 pounds lighter", "in the best shape of my life", and etc. There's no proof of that having a tremendous effect on the field until we get to the season. So unless a player is really dominant or struggling horribly, I don't think the spring the 'be all, end all' sign of things to come during the season.

Hafner's hitting .225 with 0 homers and 4 RBI this spring. That's not too horrible, considering he's coming off shoulder surgery over the offseason. He's gonna need more than the spring to find his stroke again. If he's 100% then I don't see why he can't produce in that lineup.
