Those Lakers were a dominant low-post team, because of Shaq obviously, and Kobe had the mid-range game down to a point. But that worked in a league where the game was based around the bigs. 
 
Sure Shaq would score a ton against GS. But good luck for those Lakers at defending the Curry/Draymond pick and fade in the Death Lineup. 3s are worth so much more than 2s, especially at the rates Curry and Klay hit them at. And those Lakers really weren't even a great perimeter defense, which is necessary for any team to beat the Warriors. The game has changed way too much, and that '01 Lakers roster would not be able to hold up.

Redsoxlover ill have to disagree where u said lakers didnt have good perimeter defenders lol. Kobe was phenomenal along with rick fox ron harper. Long lenghty defenders, just like okc had who gave the warriors lots of problems
